March’s Seed Agent of the month

March brings us two top Seed Agents of the Month – well done Charlie and Harry! Good luck with the beans and potatoes you’re planting this year.

Thanks for the photo boys! Can you see what Charlie and Harry are doing in their photo? They are making little newspaper pots for their windowsill so they can grown their seeds into seedlings indoors while it’s too cold outdoors.

So what’s the secret?

Roll up little tubes of newspaper

Fill them with compost

Put one bean in each tube

As the bean grows the newspaper will crumble away!

Now you can plant the whole thing without disturbing the roots.. sshhh!
