Seed City Winning Writer Announced!

Hello!

For all of you that entered the onion story competition, we have an update. Apologies for delaying the news this long, but as we all know, you don’t want to boil the pan till you know you’ve grown something to cook.

Here’s the news…

In the end, we didn’t pick a winning story, we picked a winning author. Congratulations to Emily Capstick. She is an experienced storyteller and has helped us turn her original onion story into a wonderful tale of a curious and clever carrot. The story is now in development and we hope to be able to start sending them out in late April!

More competitions?

Of course we’ll be having more competitions. Next up we’ll be looking for a Secret Seed Society jingle! We’ll be running it a bit differently with you posting your entries up on the web for a public vote, this is a society after all. I’ve always fancied myself as a contestant on Veg Factor…

Fresh from the printers!

Do you know any 3-8 year olds? Get ready to order them a Rudi Radish pack, with Rudi’s storybook, radish seeds and gooey dip recipe coming soon to our web shop for just £5! Rudi’s story is super fun as he tries to play the bongos for the coolest band in Seed City the Dirty Jackets (the aptly named band of potatoes). This year we have also launched a subscription, so you get every new pack delivered right to the door.. the perfect gift!

Group discounts!

Don’t forget if you are part of a school, club, or initiative, or hosting a party, get in touch with us for group discounts! Let’s get children curious and active in creating fun, healthy and green lives!

Seedy love to you all,

Peter Parsnip
